Nick’s Vlog #1

Hi, here we go my first vlog so enjoy!

Vlogging!

Hello, decided to start my Vlogs again! YAY! So the first two are already out and I’ll post them here! So I hope you enjoy these vlogs! Vlogs are sort of like Blog Posts but they’re videos. Decided to do this so I could also blog using a video camera, so here you go!

Yet Another Update!

Hello Again! It becomes difficult to remember to write these blog posts but it shouldn’t be a chore! Anyway here I am again making another update.

On school holidays at the momment but they’ll finish this Sunday unfortunately! But not to worry going off to Queensland the week after so it’s all good!

Got a fair bit of Doctor Who filming done this holidays, hoping that we can release the first episode of series four on the 13th of November; you can check out my films by Clicking Here. So hopefully I’ll make some updates when I’m away on holiday!

Ok Cya!

Update…

Hi, It’s been a while since I last made a blog post. Sorry about that (I’m not Dead). Anyway in the last few months I’ve moved house, had a birthday and received my first two android devices. A Herotab M10 which is a Chinese android tablet which looks like an iPad. I also got a HTC Desire HD which is an Android smartphone. Both run Android 2.2(Froyo) and are really good. And yes I couldn’t forget Chip. It has been over a year since we got him and he’s going well! Here is a photo to leave you on!

Recently my Cannon HF10, a video camera that records in AVCHD format, stopped working in Final Cut Pro 6.06. I went through the Log and Transfer and it wouldn’t show up. I tried importing it. But it said ethier the directory structure was incorrect or there was unsupported media in the directory. I was searching the problem in Google and couldn’t find an answer. Loads of people had the same problem as me but there was no solution. So this is what I did.

1. Backup all the footage on the camera. To an SD card or any OTHER storage device.

2. Either format the cameras internal memory using your computer, or if it has an intialize or format setting in the menu on the camera, use it.

3. Record a file .

4. Put your footage back on the camera in the correct folder/s.

5. Log and Transfer into Final Cut Pro and it should work.

Hope this was useful.

:) Nick

Last Night

Last Night I went to my Dad’s friend’s place for Dinner. We had roast chicken. I loved every bit of it. We also had Chocolate Mud Cake with Ice Cream. Today we might go over again for Choc Cookies. This is because my dad’s friend got a new oven. So they are having a Bake-a-thon almost. The Mud Cake was very good. Then that night, the music turned to a dance track and we ended up having a Disco. It was a good night.

Carson Trophy

Last week I presented my speech to my literacy class and I got a 19 mark out of 20. I was in Top 5 best speeches. 3 others had 19 and one had 19.5. I was nervous before I presented but I got over my nerves. I did my speech on animal neglect. I was relieved when I did it. It was a minute shorter to when I had practiced it, this is because I spoke a bit to quickly and forgot a bit. But overall I think I did well!

Homework

Today I did a whole heap of research for a speach I am doing for Literacy. It is about, Pet Cruelty is wrong. I am aiming to have my speach written by Sunday. Then Practice it till Friday of next week. Then I will put it on cue cards. I have a lot of work to do. Then on top of that there is a maths project I have to finish! Busy, busy, busy!

Filming

Recently I filmed the second episode of Dr. Who Series 4. It was a funny day everytime we saw a train my friends ran up to the fence and waved. They looked very silly. They got the Driver to toot the horn and wave hello. I invited my friend who’s Grandma recently died over to watch to cheer him up. I got a whole episode done. It was a productive day, but I am not giving away anymore spoilers.
